Stonethwaite Farm Campsite is in a stunning location, next to the high fells with Stonethwaite Beck running through it. There is room for 60 pitches, it has cold running water, toilets, pot wash facilities and reed bed system for waste. It is accessible down a rough narrow track, which is suitable for small camper vans. The campsite is situated on a SSSI area (Site of Special Scientific Interest) so fires and and the removal of anything from the site is not permitted. However barbecues are allowed.

All the high fells are easily accessible from the site as is the locally famous Black Moss Pot swimming dub, which is worth a visit in the summer.
